Scars book in production
The Scars exhibition is nearly here – the prints are ordered from One Vision, the food is booked, the coach is warming up its engine before crawling round S2, and they’ve turned the heating on in the Workstation. Hanging is next week, and the official opening less than two weeks away.
And today, this evening, finally, after much blood, sweat and other nasty stuff, the book has been completed and ordered – the only question is, will it arrive in time?
Just in case it doesn’t, here’s a link to the page on Blurb where it’s being hosted. If you want your very own copy, there’s a link to buy one (don’t forget there’s postage on top too).
And if you’re able to come on the 11th, do let me know – we’re already filling up…
The Scars exhibition is part of Sheffield’s Off the Shelf festival of writing and reading. It was produced in collaboration with Manor Young People’s Health Project and Sheffield Futures, with funding from the Prince’s Trust, South Yorkshire Community Foundation and Heritage Park School. The storytelling facilitator was Vicky Morris. Special thanks go out to Donna, who made all this possible.
