Haiti: children’s exhibition – 1

Running alongside my pictures in the ‘Haiti: Beyond the Rubble’ exhibition, starting on 1 June at Central Hall Westminster, are a series of twenty images taken by children from schools in the area Tearfund is working in to the south of Leogane.  We gave fifty disposable cameras to children in three schools, and asked them to take pictures of their favourite things.  I love the pictures they took – the composition is fantastic, and in some cases very powerful, and the insight into what matters to the children is illuminating.

I’m going to present them without any additional commentary, one picture per week day over the next four weeks.  Hope you enjoy them!
