Haiti: Beyond the Rubble exhibition – 34

Amilia Duceliant, 68, is about to receive a house from Tearfund for her and her family.

Ten members of her family slept in the road after the earthquake destroyed their house in Tom Gato.

‘Living outside is hard and it’s time to move inside. We’re all very happy about that.’

Tearfund is building household shelters in the mountains above Léogâne for the most vulnerable members of the community.
