You’re not alone exhibition opening night

Last night was the opening of the brand new exhibition ‘You’re not Alone’ in the new Long Gallery at the Children’s Hospital in Sheffield.  Shot over a six week period in early autumn 2011 by three photographers (myself, Andy Brown and Shaun Bloodworth), the exhibition tells the stories of the staff, parents and patients at Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital.

There are a series of video interviews with staff, which will be appearing on the Children’s Hospital Charity’s website over the next sixteen weeks, and I’ll be posting more of my pictures here over the next week or two as well, with a little more about each of the people featured. The page of my work on the Charity website is here. The pictures of mine in the exhibition are on this page, and the first video, an interview with Simon Morritt, Chief Executive of the Hospital Trust, is also available now.

Here’s some pictures of the evening:

A special thanks to Cat at the Children’s Hospital Charity who pulled all this together – an incredible amount of work. And the Cafeteria for the design, Evolution for the catalogue print, and the amazing staff at the Children’s Hospital.
