Twenty :: Cambodia
‘Twenty’ part 7 :: Cambodia 1999
‘Twenty’ is an occasional series to mark the first twenty years of my work as a professional photographer.
This is just a picture from an evening by the river in Phnom Penh, near the Royal Palace. I really enjoyed the pace of the city – weaving in and out of the traffic on the back of a motor bike, in a gently choreographed near head-on collision…

I’ve created a gallery of the images from ‘Twenty’ so they’re all in one place, as well as on these individual pages.
On a technical note, this is one of the very few colour images I took on my Leica CL and 40mm lens – I mostly used it for b&w, but happened to have a roll of Fuji 800 in for this shot.
