City on a hill
In the middle of a very wonderfully busy month, moments when you have to stop the car and take photos of familiar places revealed in their beauty by the morning light are to be savored. I was on my way to the city centre for a job, and the view down the road made me turn around and stop. The reality, with its width, the stillness of the air, and echoes of work from a mile away across the valley, is impossible to recreate on screen, but these are part of a Sheffield morning from last week.
Sometimes its important to remember why you love where you live.
