Twenty :: the writing’s on the wall…

‘Twenty’ part 23 :: words on walls

Twenty‘ is an occasional series marking the first twenty years of my work as a professional photographer.

I’m always interested in signs and things that people write on walls (hence my ‘count’ series of found numbers, amongst others).  They can reveal a lot about what’s going on in a situation in quite a subtle way. And sometimes they’re just plain confusing – I’ve no idea why there’s a Union Jack on the wall in Mexico City. But it’s pretty cool… The rest sort of speak for themselves.
